There are many different kinds of tartan available so you have a nice choice of colours to wear too. Think about whether or not you have any kind of colour scheme as this might influence what you pick. The key thing to remember is to be smart and take care over your appearance, because you can be sure your bride will.

The other thing you need to think about is whether you should buy or hire your outfit. This will depend largely on whether or not you want to keep it afterwards and also what your budget is. The good news is that everything can be hired if you want to go down that route, including kilts and other Highland clothing.
